Beachcomber: Rhythms of the Coast is a photographic exploration into the rhythms of the Seaside industry alongside elements of Industrial heritage that the Seaside industry was built on. This practice led research of my PhD will address aspects of a Northern Landscape, set within the places of Seaside towns and is a examination of these places that still carry the remnants of a lost and fading culture. An explorative photographic strategy is utilised to create a sense of ambiguity or disorientation that occurs when viewing the transitional rhythms and changes in the liminal zone of the Seaside.
